Louise's remarks seem to the point. One of the problems we all
have is the long delays we face when we get a 'use' message - the
DSC provides us with a 'guesstimate' of four weeks, but we all
know it's unpredicatable and irritating. Let's see if this, once it's
settled down, does anything about it.
I'd be perfectly happy to pass renewal costs on to my borrowers IF
and ONLY IF they failed to tell me they wanted a renewal - once I'd
warned them about the change of course. Only we have a policy of
not passing on costs to individuals except for lost item charges ;-).
