Subject: Price of requests
Greetings!
You will all be aware by now (because I mention it at every
available opportunity!) that we at the RSL (OX/U-8) are finding it
impossible to cope with all the extra requests that we have been
receiving since we ceased to be a BL Back-Up in October.
Management have suggested raising the price of ILLs to deter
libraries from sending requests to us. It is likely that this
higher
price would apply to *all* the Bodleian libraries.
So:
1. If we raise the price of ILLs would it deter any of you from
sending
requests to RSL (or the other Bodleian libraries)?
2. Would it depend on how much we raised the price?
3. Would you be willing to write the necessary acceptance of price
on
the request before sending it to us?
Penny
