Dear All,
Does having a Code of Practice mean something like a limit on the
number of requests any one library sends to any one other in a set
time? For example, part of it could be that I could try never to send
more than five request to any one other library in any one fortnight -
How would that work? It would take a little effort in record-keeping.
Having to use a Code does mean that ILL staff ought to develop
some feeling for the qualities of each others' collections and staff
situations - but how would this tie in with the time ILL staff
generally have available for their work?
Not everyone has access to Unity, and COPAC doesn't randomise
location lists, so there seems to be a need for more than a pre-
programmd way around the problem.
