On Tuesday this week we sent our requests to BLDSC using the Unity Web site as
normal. Somehow instead of sending the requests once to BLDSC they went twice.
We know we didn't physically send them twice as our reference numbers were the
same in two confirmation replies from Artemail, which we received back from
Artemail in the same minute. As a result items are being supplied twice by BLDSC
(unfortunately they were photocopies and not loans which might have put us on
waiting lists.). Our IT side is saying as it was via the website it has nothing
to do with our e-mail system. We are trying to take it up with Talis but as they
have no electrical supply at present and therefore no Unity Web, they can't
check it out.
BLDSC definitely say they received our request message twice and although we
have tried to cancel the requests, once we knew this had happened, with BLDSC -
they gave a blanket we can't do this - it's an automated system and they deal
with far too many requests.
Has anyone who uses Unity Web had this happen to them before? and if so do you
have any advice?
Thanks
