Sorry if this has been answered before, but does anyone have any definitive
information about the cost of online access to individual CUP (Cambridge
University Press) journals for 2003?
I've just spoken to a person at CUP who says that there is an extra charge
for some journals for online access in addition to print, and that this is
not new. From the list sent to me by OCLC (we have ECO access) of our
current subs, this appears to affect all of ours. The person at CUP said the
details are on their web site; but the web site gives prices for 'online and
print' and 'online only' - he explained that print only is the same price as
online only.
However, in October, we heard that online would cost extra so checked with
Swets, our agent, who checked with CUP who said that there is no option to
subscribe to print only if the journal is available online.
Does anyone know the answer?
Thanks
Sandra
