Hi,
You had me worried for a moment having not long sent our renewals off to
our agents, but I think what your subscription agent has told you is not
strictly true as the pricing and format options for CUP journals seem to
be the same as in previous years, i.e. print/online or online only at a
small discount. It maybe that your agent is using the online only as the
base price which would mean that the print/online bundle would appear to
have an additional cost to it??
To confirm CUP pricing the following page at:
http://uk.cambridge.org/journals/prices/ or where the 2003 prices are
detailed says "For institutions we offer bundled print plus electronic
subscriptions, or the option of electronic-only subscriptions. Just a
few journals are available only in print format."
There are therefore 3 possibilities for institutions:
1. Print + Online combination
2. Print only - where there is no online journal
3. Online only
A small observation on the CJO site is that it doesn't help that there
is only 2002 pricing on the individual journal sites.
Hope this helps.
Cheers
Lesley

Dear all,
I've just received notice from one of our subscription agents that
there's additional cost for print+online combination for the titles from
Cambridge University Press. I haven't heard anything from the other
subscription agents yet and at first glance I can't find any information
about this on the CUP website. Did I miss something?
Best wishes from windy Bremen (on of our trees came down this night
...)!
