Robert
Any ideas why this only happens with SwetsnetNavigator and Cambridge
University Press?
BIDS Ingenta, OCLCFirstSearch, Catchword, Synergy are all ok.
Thanks

Subject: Re: Adobe Acrobat Reader problems?
There is a known conflict between certain versions of Acrobat and certain
versions of IE.
Workarounds that seem to have worked for several people are below.....
If Adobe Acrobat version 4.x:
1. close MIE if open
2. start Acrobat Reader
3. uncheck File->preferences->general->web browser integration
4. close Acrobat reader using 'ok' and 'exit'
5. fire up MIE and fetch a full text file using Swetsnet Navigator
If Adobe Acrobat version 5.x
1. close MIE if open
2. start Acrobat Reader
3. uncheck Edit->preferences->options->display PDF in browser
4. close Acrobat Reader using 'ok' and 'exit'
fire up MIE and fetch a full text file using Swetsnet Navigator
I hope this information is useful.
