Hello,
I, too, was registered on Route B, but I found it very useful to see
completed PDRs.
The Preparing for Chartership course was invaluable, as it gave me a chance
to look at a number of other people's PDRs and this put things into
perspective. I was not alone at the meeting I attended in expecting much
higher standards to be required than was shown in the examples. Seeing
other PDRs helps you see that you can do it after all.
I found it helpful to use the list of information that is required in the
guidelines as a basis for my contents page, and to look at the proforma
included in the booklet for guidance as to content. When I looked at other
PDRs I focused on the contents pages, and what section headings they used.
It helps to write it in sections as it breaks it down into less daunting
chunks, though watch your word count!
I hope this helps.
Tracey.
