No it will be MCLIP.

That's right it'll be MCLIP!

That's also right.

Everything more or less has been looked at as a result of the merger between
IIS and the LA. The main foundations for the new process have already been
drawn up and went to LA Council last week.

Basically. People who are currently registered will be under the old
regulations. People who register between now and 1st April I believe can
choose whether to follow the old or new regulations. People who register
after the 1st April must follow the new regulations.
Note a) the new regulations include a time limit in which to complete (a
year after being signed off the appropriate route)
And b) people registered under the old regulations must also complete during
what is called the transitional period. I can't remember off the top of my
head exactly when this ends but I think its sometime in 2004.
The main reason why not much info has come out from the LA, is I believe
that the chartership regulations are included in the regulations of CILIP
and have to be ratified by its Council (which of course isn't yet in
existence).
