Refresher Course in Statistics
1st-3rd July, 2002
(Mainly intended for psychologists, behavioural, health & social
researchers)
This is a course for those with a basic knowledge of statistics.
Particularly suited to postgraduates and researchers who wish to improve
their competence and confidence in analysing data for surveys and
experiments.
In computer sessions you will be running analyses on SPSS Windows, whilst
the workshops will cover concepts and interpretation. Examples will be
taken
from current research projects. You will be encouraged to bring your own
data for discussion or analysis.

ANOVA
Simple Regression
Multiple Regression
SPSS
Sample Size
Introduction to logistic regression
Graphs and tables
