We are currently seeking to recruit a researcher experienced in the
development and validation of instruments for the assessment of health-
related quality of life, patient satisfaction or other types of patient-
reported outcomes. The person appointed will be involved in designing and
conducting health outcomes research projects to support the development of
innovative health technologies. Responsibilities of the position also
include the preparation of reports and publications describing work
performed, and presentations at scientific conferences.
The successful candidate will have a postgraduate qualification in a
relevant topic and at least five years experience in developing, validating
and using patient-based assessment tools. Excellent time management and
organisational skills are required, as are the abilities to multi-task and
work within a team environment. Capability in supporting and training less
experienced personnel and an understanding of the clinical development
process would be an advantage.
