Dear David
Our School runs a PgCertificate/Diploma leading to an Masters in
Education which is professional teacher preparation course for
recording with the UKCC (the statutory body for registration in
Nursing/Midwifery/Health Visiting), on completion of the course all
course members are eligible for accreditation with the ILT. I'm the
Course Director for the MA(Ed) and also an Accreditor for the ILT.
Our course used the fail/pass/distinction grade until last year when
the TLSU ruled that all courses convert to a 100% marking scale,
so we are now piloting a % marking scale against the 3 grades.
Best wishes
