RESEARCH ASSISTANT IN GEOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION FOR HEALTH RESEARCH
We are seeking to appoint a Research Assistant to provide skills in
Geographical Information Systems applied to research in the geography of
health and healthcare. The successful applicant will join a research group
that is internationally recognized for research in health geography. We
are part of a dynamic and supportive Department, providing an excellent
environment for research (ranked 5A in the Research Assessment Exercise
2001). The appointment will be for 6 months in the first instance, with
good prospects for extension of the contract. The post provides an
excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified candidate to work on a range
of health related applications of GIS and is likely to provide good
opportunities for career development and progression in health research.
The starting salary will be £19,681.
