Dear Colleagues,
I am searching for references on extremely rare localities
where co-existant orthopyroxene and kyanite demonstrate
sharp equilibrium relationships.
I know only one work:
Baba S. 1999. Sapphirine-bearing orthopyroxene-kyanite/sillimanite
granulites from South Harris, NW Scotand: evidence for Proterozoic
UHT metamorphism in the Lewisian. Contrib.Mineral.Petrol. 136,
pp. 33-47.
and 3 references within (but, these 3 papers describe rocks with
nonequilibrium or unklear Opx-Ky relationships).
Is it really the only place all over the world? :)
Thank you in advance,
Dima.
