Hi all,
Does anyone know of any references to textural relationships of
high-pressure (eclogite mainly, but HP granulite also) melt? I'm
particularly interested in cases where people have displayed melt
infiltrating from acid layers into basic layers during high-pressure
metamorphism and crystallising a high-pressure assemblage from melt (in
equilibrium with HP assemblage of "host"). I would be even more
interested if anyone has worked on partial melt in basic rocks formed
during high-pressure metamorphism.
The examples I have may have undergone ductile shearing during partial
melt formation or infiltration via a melt/reaction weakening process.
Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.
Regards,
Craig Storey
