Hello, my name is Pedro Arias a student of geology in Argentina. Sorry
about my English, is terrible.
Ok...
If you see a planisphere and look at the south, the fist that you can see
is that “ South America and Africa can put together” but look this
picture.
If you look the occidental coast of South America (if you take off the
Andes is the same) and Africa, bouts are making for a line convex at the
eastern, continuously for other straight line N-S aprox.
If you look at the oriental African rift valley, you can see something
similar. Look the Antarctica too (with a rotation). You can see this
comportment in the continents at the south of the planet (I’m studying
about Australia at this moment).
This make me think about a continental fracture mechanism in the beginning
of a continental separation that make this kind of things, in the
continent at the right of the rift. And only affect in the south of the
planet. Maybe this have a relation with the form of pear of the earth or
maybe something in the mantel.
At this moment I don’t find bibliography about this type of observation.
If someone know were I can find information about this, please make me
know.
(Remember I’m just a student of geology in the university that make an
observation and try study bout it).
I’m going to continue study this, with my limited resort. If someone know
about a group, fellowship program, or anything that can help me to
continue with this basic investigation, please let me know about it.
I wold like if we can make a discussion about it.
Again, sorry... my English is terrible.
