Folks,
I am planning a series of experiments that involve fluid-mediated trace
element mobility during dehydration and dehydration/melting of amphibolite,
focusing in particular on those element important to the common radiogenic
isotopic systems. For this I need fresh samples of amphibolite that are
particularly high in Rb (and Sr), Nd, Sm, U, Pb. I would prefer to use
natural samples rather than doping samples that have low concentrations.
Does anyone have samples of such amphibolite that have been well
characterized vis-a-vis mineralogy and trace element contents that I could
have?
Thanks for your help!
