New report: Mothers in exile: Maternity experiences of asylum seekers in
England
"Key findings
Asylum seekers and their babies survived in a support system that fell far
short of meeting their most basic needs for adequate food and safe shelter.
Already lonely, disorientated and grieving, half of the women also
experienced neglect, disrespect and racism from the maternity services."
