Yoom Ilak, Yoom Aleik: Heritage, Eviction, Hope: Palestinian Refugees of
1948. Produced by Badil Resource Center for Palestinian Residency & Refugee
Rights, Bethlehem, Palestine (1998). The film attempts to explain the
historical complexity of the 1948 Palestinian Nakba and provides insight
into Palestinian Refugees experiences.
Tuesday, April 9, 2002: Room 411, Old Falaki
Children of Fire. By Mai Masri, produced by Jean Chali Chamoiun (1989). The
film is about the new generation of Palestinian fighters, the children of
the Intifada. The film describes the struggle of Palestinians in Nablus
(Jabal El Nar) during the first Intifada.
Sunday, April 11, 2002: Blue Room, Greek Campus
The Dupes. Directed by Tawfiq Salah in Syria (1972). The film is about the
dispossession of the Palestinian people from their homeland Palestine, and
their struggle for survival to prove their existence and their claim for a
right in life.
