Electronic Immigration Network (EIN) host a website
(www.ein.org.uk)dedicated to linking information providers with advice
workers and practitioners dealing with all issues relating to immigration,
refugee and nationality law, primarily in the United Kingdom. We are engaged
in a large project redeveloping our site, and I had two specific areas
where people may be able to help us.
The first is that we host a database of UK and overseas caselaw which is
indexed with keywords to aid users to find cases involving the issues they
need. As part of the redesign we are reviewing how the indexing works, and
to aid this I would be grateful if people could guide us to any existing
indexes of immigration law on the Internet.
The second is that we intend to turn the keyword list into a glossary, and
expand it so that people have a useful glossary covering immigration and
asylum law, and issues around refugees and immigration in general. Could
people guide us to any useful glossaries that already exist on the Internet,
to ensure there is as little duplication of effort as possible.
If you could help with either of these requests please email me at
