Sample surveys amongst displaced populations
UNHCR's Evaluation and Policy Analysis Unit (EPAU) would like to hear from
any researchers or practitioners who have experience in the use of sample
surveys amongst refugees and other displaced populations.
EPAU is particularly interested to find out (a) the purposes for which
sample surveys have been undertaken and the use which has been made of them;
(b) the methodologies used to conduct such surveys; (c) the practical
difficulties encountered in the course of such surveys; and (d) hints and
tips on how to undertake such surveys in an effective manner. This exercise
may be followed by a workshop on the use of sample surveys amongst displaced
populations, to which experts will be invited.
Please contact EPAU at <[log in to unmask]>.
