A minor point, but just to be pedantic I should mention that the
standard "signature separator" is a line containing only two minus signs
*followed by a single space*. You won't see the trailing space but if it
is not there the "sig. sep." may not be recognised as such.
The jiscmail software will not try to read anything after this
separator, so it won't try to interpret your signature block as a
command. Good mailing software will also strip anything after this
separator when quoting messages for replies and follow-ups, avoiding
unnecessary clutter and repetition.
