Oops - sorry folks this was a bit of overspill from the separate mailing
list that we use to co-ordinate discussion among the 'attending' and
'corresponding' members of the forum.
Just to fill in those who are interested we have been discussing an upgrade
to the INSCRIPTION pages
see www.fish-forum.info,
specifically the nature of the description of each wordlist / thesauri. Part
of this includes discussion of the metadata that is needed for each list,
with consideration of the Dublin Core standard
http://purl.oclc.org/dc/index.htm
and the NKOS Registry Description Attributes standard (version 3)
http://nkos.slis.kent.edu/
A draft INSCRIPTION metadata standard and sample description are being
discussed. If anyone on the wider list would like a copy (contact me
off-list to [log in to unmask] )I'll be happy to forward it to you - or
if theres a lot of interest I'll put a copy on the file store for the list.
