Position: Senior Geotechnical Engineer
Location: London
Salary: £Neg
Our client, a leading consultancy with offices throughout the UK, is
looking to recruit an experienced Geo-Technical engineer to join its
Central London office. The role will involve providing technical and
management support to the section head within the office, along with the
continued training and continued professional development of junior staff.
Duties will include the technical management of geotechnical design
processes within specialisms such as foundation, earthworks, retaining and
general geotechnical design, along with project management and
factual/interpretive report preparation. Suitable candidates will hold a
BEng (civil-related) first degree, coupled with an MSc in a geotechnical-
related subject, coupled with between 5 and 8 years’ experience, including
design, site investigation and construction experience, preferably gained
within consultancy. In return, our client is offering the opportunity to
work on an exciting range of projects within a supportive working
environment, with excellent scope for future progression. Salary will be
commensurate with skills and experience, and an excellent range of

Position: Principal Geo-Environmental/Geo-Technical Engineer
Location: Bristol
Salary: £Neg
Our client, a leading consultancy with offices throughout the UK, is
urgently looking to recruit a principal-level Geo-Environmental/Geo-
Technical engineer to join its Bristol office. With an absolute minimum of
8 years’ relevant experience within a geo-environmental/technical
specialism, you will preferably be of chartered status and ideally hold a
post-graduate qualification within an environmental-related discipline.
With line management responsibility over a team of 25, you will have an
outstanding combination of management and technical abilities, which will
allow you to continue the development of the growing business within the
region according to best practice and quality policies. The role will
involve the management of substantial contracts, therefore the ability to
balance conflicting priorities and ensure that projects are completed
within timescale and budget constraints is essential. In return, the

Position: Contaminated Land Consultant
Location: South East
Salary: £competitive
Our client, a major UK consultancy providing services to the petroleum,
property and industrial sectors, is looking to recruit an experienced
Contaminated Land Consultant/Scientist to join its existing South East-
based team. With a relevant first degree within an environmental/earth
science and preferably a related MSc qualification, candidates will have a
strong background within phase 1 and 2 site investigations coupled with
experience of associated risk assessments. Experience of follow-up
monitoring post-remediation is also desirable. The ability to produce
accurate, high quality reports, of factual and interpretive nature, is
also an essential quality for the position.
Salary will be commensurate with skills and experience and certainly
competitive within the market; and prospects for future progression within
the company are excellent.

Position: Remediation Project Manager
Location: South East
Salary: £neg
Our client, a major UK consultancy providing services to the petroleum,
property and industrial sectors, is urgently seeking an experienced
Project Manager to join its Remediation Services Unit within Surrey. At
present the client has both existing and forthcoming remediation projects
within various locations throughout the UK, particularly involving
innovative in-situ remediation techniques and technologies. With a
relevant science/engineering first degree, you will have a strong
technical background within remediation projects, and experience of
contaminated land investigations and risk assessments would also be a
benefit. Experience of all stages of remediation project management is
required in order for successful candidates to successfully manage all
aspects of large, complex projects within timescale and budget
constraints. The role will also involve a large degree of
client/regulatory authority liaisons, therefore excellent communication
and interpersonal skills are also paramount.

Position: Graduate Geo-technical/Geo-Environmental Consultants
Location: Midlands
Salary: £Excellent – plus bonuses
Highly motivated graduate earth scientists are urgently required to join
an established Midlands-based consultancy. With an earth science/geo-
environmental-related first degree and recent MSc in Engineering Geology,
Geo-Technical/Geo-Environmental Engineering or similar, you will be a
logical thinker who thrives on challenge and relishes reward and
recognition for achievement. You will have a maximum of 2 years experience
post-graduation, and sound knowledge of relevant contaminated land
legislation, coupled with the ability to describe soils to BS 5930:1999
standards. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on an
exciting range of projects, and be provided with outstanding opportunities
for continued professional development within aspects such as
Geotechnical/Foundation Design, Quantitative Risk Assessment and
Remediation Design.
