Dear all,
Just thought I'd drop in a few lines to say hi, in
particular to those whom I didn't get to meet at this
year's conference in Liège.
I'd like to thank Ursula for the introduction, I'll
try my best to continue the good work she's been doing
these past two years.
As I stated at the conference, my main objectives as
student representative center around communication and
information. In view of this I'll be working on
developping the student web-pages and keeping them
updated. I'd like to get as much information as
possible out to the students both through the web
pages and this newslist. I'd also like to impulse more
communication between students (perhaps with regional
groups or web sites, anyone interested in starting one
in their country / region?), and to represent students
interest to the best of my ability in the ECS council.
For the moment I've started working with Martin Boye
(hi Martin!) on the students web pages. We're trying
to put together a complete and easy to work with
package as is possible and hope to be able to put it
online before long. We've also had two volunteers from
Denmark (Nette Levermann and Maja Kirkegaard) to
create a web page for Danish students!
So if anyone has any ideas, opinions, information,
don't hesitate to contact me! I'd really appreciate it
if those of you who have done certain courses or
internships that are available again this year (and in
the future) could write and give me your
opionion/thoughts on these, it will provide
information for future students considering the same
programs!
Will be in touch again soon!
Cristina
