Dear Sirs:
Could you please include the request below for MERLOT Peer

The Business Editorial Review Board of MERLOT (Multimedia
Educational Resource for Learning and Online Teaching) is
inviting academics from all business disciplines to become
Peer Reviewers. MERLOT is a cost free means of viewing
learning materials developed by other instructors. Viewers
can become Members with only a last name and address,
although access is available to non-members also. Members
are able to contribute their own materials as well as write
User Comments for others.
Within the Business Discipline, we now have:
- Over 1300 Members
- Over 1200 Learning Modules
- Over 90 Peer Reviews
MERLOT can be accessed at the following site:
http://www.merlot.org
The criteria for being a Peer Reviewer are that the
individual:
1. be an instructor at an institute of higher learning,
2. has demonstrated expertise in the discipline,
3. is recognized for excellence in teaching,
4. has experience using technology in teaching, and
5. has participated in the activities of the
discipline association(s).
Peer Reviewers are partnered with Associate Editors to
conduct the Expert Peer Review on a learning module in
their discipline. In addition to contributing to the
discipline, serving as a Peer Reviewer enables the
individual to become more familiar with the types of
learning material available. After completion of the
review, the Peer Reviewer is recognized for his/her
contribution by a letter from the Editor.
