This workshop is aimed at members of the academic community
who have a particular interest in student retention. The
day will focus on the debates associated with this
particularly topical subject, along with initiatives that
have been undertaken within HE institutions in the UK.
There will be a range of activities including
presentations, discussion groups and demonstrations. The
programme will include:
* Why aren't they always there? An analysis of student
attendance at lectures

The event is free of charge and includes refreshments and a
