C&IT in Teaching and Learning Events
April 11th and 12th, 2002
University of Oxford
[Organised by the Learning Technologies Group, University of Oxford]
This message is a second notice to bring to people's attention two
events which are happening at the University of Oxford on the 11th and
12th April, 2002.
Both events look at the use of IT in teaching and learning, but employ
different methods of approaching the issues. 'Shock of the Old 2' (a
continuation of last year's conference) presents a series of papers based
around emerging themes and problems, whilst 'Beyond Chalk' is a series of
debates, round-table discussions, and plenary speakers. Whilst 'Shock of
the Old 2' has HE as its main focus, 'Beyond Chalk' looks at IT in
education across all sectors: primary, secondary, FE, HE, and lifelong
learning.
