Annual NILTA Conference - Book now
Places are still available for the annual NILTA conference, "Blended
Learning: Effective Use of Technology" which takes place between Oct
13th and 15th at the Hanover International Hotel and Club, Hinckley,
Leicestershire.
The NILTA Annual Conference is regarded by the sector as the key ILT
conference in the UK for practitioners, administrators and those
supporting the use of ICT in the delivery of learning - not just for the
post-16 sector, but for the whole of lifelong learning too. It is a
forum for the exchange of views and ideas among policy makers and those
listening to the needs of the sector. The conference is particularly
suitable for Principals, Vice/Assistant Principals, Heads of Department
and ILT Senior Management Champions. And those from schools with 6th
forms, the private sector, and community associations will find the
conference particularly rewarding. Equally, senior decision takers in
national and local strategic planning bodies will find the conference of
much benefit to keep them in close touch with emerging issues. A rounded
programme will enable participants to gain most from attendance at all
three days, but for those restricted by their diary, attendance at any
of the three days will bring a most valuable reward. Include
international delegates, head teachers, CTC Trusts, ICT Advisers in
schools, ICT Advisers in Local LSCs.
The Conference will:
• examine the components of blended learning
• illuminate issues facing organisations implementing blended learning
• contrast the changing role of professionals implementing blended
learning methodologies
• enable participants to invigorate colleagues, cascading the ideas and
knowledge networks that the Conference will give
Our keynote speakers, all experts in their field, will challenge
delegates to embrace the emerging approach to delivery through blended
learning, capturing innovation and the leading-edge use of technology.
This inspiration will be drawn out through a balanced programme of
plenary sessions establishing concept and inspiring debate which will be
further examined in interactive forums with a practical and practitioner
focus.
