Hi,
Are you involved in describing learning and teaching resources? The CETIS
Metadata SIG is conducting a survey of the usage of learning resources
metadata in the UK Higher and Further Education sectors.
We'd very much appreciate it if anyone who is using metadata to describe
learning and teaching resources could complete our online questionnaire at:
http://www.icbl.hw.ac.uk/~philb/cetis-md-dev/use-qnr.htm
The survey focuses on the IMS/IEEE/SCORM type of metadata, but we are also
interested in when and why people use alternatives such as the Dublin Core,
to describe educational and learning resources. Results of the survey will
be made publicly available and will be used to influence further work of
the CETIS Metadata SIG in supporting metadata users.
CETIS are members of various standard and specification creating
organisations, and are keen to represent the interests of the whole UK HE
and FE community in their involvement with these organisations, as they are
funded to do so by the Joint Information Systems Committee. The CETIS
Metadata SIG has been set up to provide a forum for the UK HE and FE sector
to share experience and expertise in using metadata to describe learning
and teaching, educational resources.

Interest Groups, please visit: http://www.cetis.ac.uk
best wishes
