Surveillance & Society <http://www.surveillance-and-
society.org/journal.htm>
Surveillance & Society, the transdisciplinary international journal of
surveillance studies, is calling for papers:
* the deadline for the first issue is the 31st of May 2002
* publication is scheduled for Summer 2002.
Surveillance & Society is a part of a new international initiative to
bring surveillance studies to wider attention, within academia and
beyond.
* It is online for maximum accessibility, and because we
hope to encourage multimedia, photographic and video
submissions that could not be published in conventional paper
journals.
* All submissions will be fully peer-reviewed to the most
rigorous quality standards.
* We are interested in papers on any aspect of surveillance
from all disciplines.
Surveillance & Society has two sister sites:
* Surveillance Resources, a resource base for surveillance
studies, including an interactive 'Encyclopedia of Surveillance', and
* a Discussion Forum, which will be based on submitted
Opinion pieces of up to 2000 words. Both will be operational by
Summer 2002.
* Please visit the website, or contact the Editors for further
details.
