Apologies for crossposting
The latest update at http://www.bl.uk/services/information/training.html
includes quite of lot of new items this month.
The range includes a *free* event on health informatics in Plymouth next
month, the CILIP health related courses, Health Coalition Initiative and
Patient Information Forum events etc etc
There's also an NHSIA consultation which doesnt quite fit as an 'event'-

Deciding what events to include on the page is a much more subjective
process than I had anticipated (particularly selecting from the vast range
of health informatics events). I've decided to change the page a bit. I've
stopped including a separate listing of some major LIS events (tho I have
left in IFLA and Online), as there are other sites with comprehensive
listings (I've included a couple of urls for them).
Feedback welcome on:
* I'm wondering about excluding the very expensive courses (usually in
informatics), partly as there are other listings (eg
http://www.bmis.org/events_newsfeed.html), and partly as I dont expect any
of us could afford to attend them! I'll chuck 'em out in next month's
revision of the page, unless I get feedback that some of you want them.
* I'm always looking for way to pick up on events particularly relevant to
health information/library professionals that I'm missing, anywhere in the
UK and Ireland. Including consumer health as well as for health
profs/students. Group's webpages are my main resource, and there are often
problems with them (date or technical..)
* I dont usually include 'members only' events.
