Apologies for crossposting
I've updated this sooner than scheduled as I have found out recently about
several events in the next few months (as well as finding some other events
listings in the health policy field, which I have added links to).
The url for the page is http://www.bl.uk/services/information/training.html
Examples include a Kings Fund Library open day for social care professionals
in London, and information profs who work with them, and the Patient
Information Forum conference (I have also put some detailed information
about this at the end of the page at
http://www.bl.uk/services/information/training.html#pif , as it looks
interesting and they dont have a web page).
Although in the 3 days since I updated the page, I have heard about 2 more
events (can't keep up!)
They are:
1. Cochrane Library training, with sessions for information staff and
non-infomation staff (see
http://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/cgi-bin/wa.exe?A2=ind0203&L=lis-medical&F=&S=&P=12
399)
2. 'Training our users: current practices & strategies for information
skills training' Organised jointly by the Libraries for Nursing (LfN) Group
and the
Health Libraries Group (HLG), 14th May at Aston University, Birmingham (see
http://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/cgi-bin/wa.exe?A2=ind0203&L=lis-medical&F=&S=&P=11
110)
As always, feedback and information about more events very welcome.
