If you've not heard of it already: Patient Information Forum (PiF) members
work in healthcare and are involved in producing information for patients.
'The group exists to promote the production of quality healthcare
information
for NHS patients by sharing ideas and experiences, and to facilitate change
in information provision in health care. Its a professional networking group
rather than anything commercial.'

'The NHS Patient and Public Involvement Strategy: What does if mean for me?'

Presentation from Rob Thompson, Head of Patient and Public Involvement at
the DoH about his work and the implication for patient information providers

as the strategy rolls out and the new structures are put into place

with a final 'brainstorming' session so that PiF members can contribute
their ideas about future activities and workshops for PiF.
