Dear all,
I have, in fact, a doubt not directly related with bugs programming.
Does anybody know references, articles or texts that deal with the
problem of improper priors with continuous mixtures of normal
distributions?
I know that improper priors with discrete mixtures of normal
distributions cause posteriors to be improper as well. Is there any
demonstration about continuous ones?
If you know a clear demonstration for discrete mixtures too, I would
like to take a glance on it also...
Thanks a lot.
