Alison,
I'd trade your kangaroos anyday for what I had speeding past my house this
afternoon escorted by police and body guards: All the foreign ministers of
NATO in a hurry to leave the country after their meeting. Colin Powell, Jack
Straw, Silvio Berlusconi and some 20 others plus several East European
foreign ministers, including Russia. What will be good is to get a good
nights' sleep now, since the city has been watched over from the air as well
as on the ground. It's been like living on the edge of an all-night airport
for a couple of nights.
