The backchannel's not daft at all. As for the original post I thought daft,
I'm afraid I didn't read it properly even the second time and was probably
somewhat thrown by not taking as really addressed to Candice in such a
personal way. Now that I do, and with a little backchannel prompting from
another source, it does seem a hideous post and it does seem abusive. I
apologise to Candice for not taking it seriously when she is clearly quite
seriously distressed, and with good reason. Paul is totally out of order.
