Just finishing off the dregs of my 50 years to heaven champers so at my ripe
age I presume I can say what the hell I want and be totally ignored -
anyroad, as they say in places with dirt track paths, thanks for putting
this in our way cris (have you 'turned' yet or are you still a sprog for a
few more weeks?) much as I love 'found' I don't think 'found' is enough and
I think this site proves it.
To find a found as something that can stand in its own rights as a powerful
and heart stopping moment of enlightenment or insight into the human
condition or artistic validity will only translate to the 'non-finders' in
exceptionally rare cases. To find a message under the fridge from an ex
tennant can be imbuded with prophetic significance if you are the finder but
it doesn't necessarily mean it works from a once remove context or that it
is the least bit interesting expect on a soapopera reality tv or taboild
level of voyeuristic projection of a life condensed to highl/lowlights.
Not very interesting messages/lists /photos are not interesting just because
they are foregrounded and collected, in fact they are less interesting
because the thrill of the finder finding is absent. Ultimately its like
looking at someone elses holiday snaps - mostly they're as boring as hell
but occasionally one photo will belt out as a gem of composition and
configuration which transcends the gloss
and crinkles the heart. Oh well blah dah,
orf to finish the celebrations which haven't even started.
Chirpy cheep bleep,
G.
ps I don't think I'm gonna have time to follow my own thoughts so please
forgive if I don't appear again in any shep ship or shap,
.g
