Dear All,
I'm putting the finishing touches to our advice on making material more
accessible in / through Blackboard. I'm happy with the general ideas
on images, colors, tags etc., but we currently have a large proportion
of our academics who simply upload word or powerpoint files.
Therefore, I would like to find out what other people are advising in
the following areas;
word docs - do you advise lecturers save them as HTML before uploading,
or do you advise that lecturers convert to HTML through Dreamweaver (or
the likes) to strip out the tags.
powerpoint - are you advising them to save them in an HTML format
before uploading.
are you giving guidelines on design of material for online delivery,
i.e., use of white space etc.,
Any feedback - greatly appreciated
Cheers
Andy
