As well as being Bb Administrator (pro-tem) I'm also doing staff training
(just too darn popular) and having fun with Word files. So , 2 Word-related
questions:
One
When viewing a Word doc on a PC, IE5, the file opens in the content frame
(my Mac downloads it then fires up Word as an independent app), there are 4
little "View" buttons showing at the bottom left. In all but Web Layout
View, the buttons and scroll bars remain visible, but, when we switch to Web
Layout View the buttons vanish and we can't switch back. This doesn't happen
on the W2k PC on my desk!!! Is this a W2k thing, an IE5 thing or a Word
thing? And any suggestions as to how to fix it would be gratefully received.
Whatever, there is little doubt it's a MICROSFOT thing!
TWO
I think I may have asked this before.... if a user does not have Office on
their PC, can they see Word files? If so, in what form?
