Hi Gary
Have you tried changing the HTML tags so that they use their entity
equivalents?

So, if you wanted to display the following HTML:
<img src="xyz.gif" alt="a cup & saucer">
You'd actually type:
<img src="xyz.gif" alt="a cup & saucer">
or maybe even just the following will be enough for BB:
<img src="xyz.gif" alt="a cup & saucer">

Subject: Diaplying HTML Tags within Course Items
Hello,
I wish to display an HTML tag such as <img src="...."> within the
text of an item on a Blackboard course.
Unfortunately, the Blackboard server insists on interpreting my
instruction and displays the image, not the html.
I've tried using comments but this leads Bb to ignore the rest of the
line and if I use <img etc, this is also turned into an
interpreted HTML statement.
I can't simply use plain text on this occasion as there are other parts
of the item I want to display as e.g. bold text.
Any thoughts out there?
