I have had a query passed on to me which relates to the repertoire of a Mrs
Bridget Walsh of Kilkenny, Ireland. She was a native Gaelic speaker (B
1865. d 1945)and her one song in English had the following couplet;
He robbed neither house nor land,
But they sent him to Van Diemen's Land.
Does anybody know the rest of the song,or know anything of its history?
