Dear All,
I am trying to gather together some information on Surface EMG in terms of reduction of noise from factors such as electrode quality, electrode connection noise, equipment sensitivity, electrode type, body posture affecting signals (etc...). Does anybody have information that would help me or contacts in the EMG world who could assist in my quest for information? So far I haven't found any information from the DoH Web-site referring to EMG.
Just for your information the equipment I have presently connects the patient to the computer via a fibre optic cable, significantly reducing the risks associated with connecting people to mains powered equipment.
I look forward to any help you can give.
Thanks,
Neil Gregory
