Hello everyone,
we have been approached by one of the therapists here at the Crippled
Children's Association in Australia to develop a dynamic elbow splint
that is pressure and angle adjustable by remote control (ideally). It is
to be used as a more effective way of controlling stereotyped repetitive
and self-injurious behaviour in children (such as in Rett Syndrome).
Does anyone have experience with or know of commercial elbow splints
that are available? How successful have they been?
Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Dave ;-)
