The people in Leeds must be greedier than those in Grampian. We
have had 5 people over 25 stone in the last year out of a population
of 750,000. 3 of these were over 30 stone. We have others on our
books from previous years.
My other problem is height, I am finding that I have a lot of tall
people, that need more seat to ground height and taller backs.
Also attendants are finding push handles to low.
Yesterday I had a young mum who is 6ft 1" and was getting back
ache bending pushing her childs chair, even with the manufactures
adjustable extended push handles.
My realy big problem at the moment is a lady who wont move house,
Is 26" wide in the seat, has a front door that only opens to 26" and
social services say it cannot be widened!
