Gary
I am currently evaluating the Omni+ and SRS100, using the new
SRS interface cable, via sip-puff for an MS client. It appears to be a
very good solution. In this solution I think that your problem would be
helped by the step/latch drive functions of the Omni+. In step mode
a hard puff starts the chair driving continuously at the lowest speed
and each further hard puff incrementally increases the speed. Left
and right are controlled by soft sip and puff respectively, whilst
driving. A hard sip will incrementally slow the chair down and an
extended hard sip will stop the chair. We are also providing an
emergency stop button via a headswitch.
regards
Jeremy
