I have developed an interface so that the Dudley Sip & Puff can be used
with the DX-5SW. Indication of selected direction is also provided.
The DX system was found quite difficult to use because of the need to
provide two levels of sip and puff. A further disadvantage is the lack
of visual Indication of the selected drive direction.
The interface has also been designed to accept inputs from the Chailey
Chin switch array. This permits them to be interfaced to the DX system.
At the moment it is being evaluated and requires a risk assessment -
hopefully by the end of October. The issue of CE marking also has to be
addressed.

Matthew Pepper
