The context for Fine Art education currently includes the requirement to
frame our degree courses in terms of Programme Specification, which
sometimes seems like a very different sort of activity to what happens in
the studio, or what we hope might happen to students when they leave us to
engage in the professional world of galleries and dealers.
This panel have been drawn together to give us an opportunity to discuss
with them the values and perceptions of all parties - the professionals
working with artists and engaged in cultural debate (whether gallerists or
fine art lecturers), interested people from other sectors ('the consumers')
and the agencies helping us to frame our teaching.
This promises to be an interesting afternoon and we look forward to seeing
NAFAE members there.
NAFAE member institutions are entitled to send up to 3 voting delegates to
the AGM (full members), or 1 delegate (associate members). Member
