Hi all.
There has been lot of discussion among Icelandic archivists if digital
photographs should be allowed in the reading room and if the archives should
provide facilities for users to take digital photos. Many think that those
of us that want to restrict it, are backwards thinking and not providing
users with modern service, but we think there are many other aspects to
consider, including security.
Do any of you have rules about use of cameras in the reading room or if a
user can bring own copy machine to the reading room to save cost?
Thank you in advance,
Svanhildur Bogadottir
