*Open Forum 2002*
The Public Services Quality Group's annual Open Forum for archivists and
allied professionals will be held at the Public Record Office on Wednesday
13 November 2002. This year's theme is Auditing for Quality. The event
will feature presentations, discussion and breakout sessions on the
following themes:
* Archive inspection regimes: Public Record Office, Best Value
* Resource's Inspiring Learning for All framework
* Social impact audits
* Sharing best practice: induction of new users; distance enquiries; the
role of volunteers
There will also be a demonstration of BT's Connected Earth site
(www.connected-earth.com)
The fee for the day, including tea, coffee and lunch, is £30. Bookings are
